We are very excited to offer Spindrift California Style.
When we began thinking about offering fresh soda to California we knew the only way to introduce California to fresh sodas was to, well, move there.
California is the home of fresh, with more raw fruit available than anywhere in the country. We began by running a batch in 2010 and 2011 to make sure we perfected the process. Ultimately, we knew the only way to do it right was to offer a California squeezed, California bottled, and California based operation.
Spindrift California will be launched by friend and bay area foodie Shelly Haygood. Shelly grew up in the Bay Area and now resides in Lafayette. Shelly is a devoted participant and fan of the California fresh food movement and couldn’t see it working any other way.
The Spindrift process begins in the groves in southern CA. The produce will be picked then fresh squeezed in Beaumont CA. The product will then be shipped refrigerated up to Sonoma County California to be blended into fresh soda. We are then going to be selling through fresh distributors to the same amazing cafes, burrito shops, and surfer canteens as we do in the east.
And of course our charity work with non-profits protecting water resources continues. We have already aligned ourselves and are printing our caps with Heal the Bay. Look for more exciting new partnerships in the works upcoming.
